POCAHONTAS-The Gosnell Pirates got back on the winning track with a 70-66 road win over conference rival, Pocahontas Redskins Tuesday night.
Gosnell led 18-12 at then end of one period, 31-28 at halftime and 53-41 heading into the fourth.
The Pirates paced by Carlos Blackman's 20 points, Tramaine Anderson added 18, Brandon Partee chipped in 17 and Marcus McClain scored nine points.
The Pirates improve to 12-4 on the seasons and 4-2 in the 3-4A conference.
Gosnell returns home Thursday night to take on the Trumann Wildcats. Junior high action tips off at 5 p.m. followed by varsity.

Harrisburg 57, Gosnell 28
GOSNELL-The Gosnell Lady Pirates fell to the Harrisburg Lady Hornets, 57-28, Tuesday night at the Gosnell Physical Education Center.
Harrisburg led 11-2 at the end of the first period, 29-12 at halftime and 44-19 heading into the fourth.
Jessica Weiss and Lauren Rogers each scored eight points a piece to lead the Lady Pirates and Kourtney Riggs added seven points.
Kylie Devries led the Lady Hornets with 22 points.
Gosnell drops to 3-12 on the season and 0-6 in the 3-4A conference. The Lady Pirates take on the Trumann Lady Wildcats Friday night at Gosnell. Junior high action tips off at 5 p.m. followed by varsity.
