Nancy Tice

Nancy Caroline (Shearer) Tice, 82, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at her home in Johns Creek, GA. She was born on May 26, 1933, in Homer, New York, daughter of the late Charles F and Blanche Shearer.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Tice, her brother Fred Shearer of Naples, FL, and sister, Mary Ellen Anderson of Little York, NY.

Mrs. Tice was a longtime resident of Blytheville and was employed by Farmers Bank and Trust for 30 years.

She was a member of the Alpharetta First United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, GA.

Mrs. Tice leaves her three children and their spouses, Mark and Nancee Tice of Pine Bluff; Julie and David Pitman of Johns Creek, Ga.; and Jennifer and Randy Baker of Madison, Ala.;

Her brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Joan Shearer of Courtland, N.Y.;

Grandchildren and their spouses, Joshua and Jamey Tice, Rachel Pitman, April Pitman, Lauren (Baker) and Arlo Daunhauer, Lee Baker and Logan Baker; and

Great-grandchildren, Jacey Tice and Jessa Tice.

A family memorial service will be held in Alpharetta, Ga. on January 17. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101. Mrs. Tice will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Homer, New York.
