The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department. Friday, Jan. 8 -- Police investigated a domestic aggravated assault in the 1300 block of East Rose. The victim told police that while taking a shower at her boyfriend's house, he came into the bathroom and and struck her on the forehead, causing her to be unconscious for a moment. ...

The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department.

Friday, Jan. 8

-- Police investigated a domestic aggravated assault in the 1300 block of East Rose. The victim told police that while taking a shower at her boyfriend's house, he came into the bathroom and struck her on the forehead, causing her to be unconscious for a moment. "When she woke up (the offender) was screaming and yelling at her," the report said. The offender then pulled out a handgun, took her keys and forced her into the bedroom, according to the report. The report said the offender would not let her leave until the next morning. "When she left the residence, (the offender) had his cousin follow her out of Blytheville," the report said, adding she called police because she feared being hurt again. The victim had a laceration on her forehead and received medical attention.

-- Officers took a harassment report in the 1200 block of Chickasawba.

-- Police took a report of a missing 3.5 ton A/C unit in the 1200 block of East Cherry.

-- Officers investigated a burglary in the 800 block of East Main. Missing were a television, two gaming systems, a laptop and speakers. The victim had just returned from a two-week stay in the hospital when discovering the burglary.

-- Police took a battery report in the 900 block of Harmon. The victim's boyfriend hit her in the eye, causing a golf ball sized swelling.

-- Officers arrested Demarco Handy on domestic battery charges, following an incident in the 1600 block of Jackson. According to the report, the victim told police that Handy slapped her, then punched her in the nose while she was driving.

Saturday, Jan. 9

-- Police investigated a burglary in the 800 block of Stemac. A television and cell phone were reported missing.

-- Police investigated a burglary in the 700 block of Clearlake.

-- Officers investigated a burglary in the 1100 block of Hearn. Missing were three televisions, two gaming systems, a computer tablet, medicine and costume jewelry.

-- Police assisted with a fire investigation at 208 South Lilly. The report said firemen said the blaze was suspicious. Police noted "a considerable amount" of paper towels near the furnace area. The residence did not have any running water and only contained a couch, dresser and TV, according to the report. The victim told police that her water was just shut off. She told police she has been living at the home for more than a year and sleeps on the couch. "Firefighters stated when they arrived the couch was on fire but went out quickly," the report said.

Sunday, Jan. 10

-- Officers arrested Jessie Brown on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and improper parking at the intersection of Banks Avenue and North Franklin.

-- Police took a criminal mischief report in the 3700 block of Kacey Lane. There were ruts in the yard from a car driving on it.

-- Officers took a criminal mischief report in the 500 block of Northwest Parkway. The vehicle's front window was broken. While gathering information on the incident, the officer noticed the alleged offender, Travis Pearson, and his older brother, Rodney Wright, fighting, and they were arrested on disorderly conduct charges. The victim has a restraining order on Pearson, who is also accused of violating the court order. Wright was cited and released on the disorderly conduct charge.

-- Following a traffic stop on North Second Street, police arrested Sedrick McKinney, who was allegedly in possession of a stolen vehicle that was taken from Obion, Tenn. During a search, police reportedly found 7.5 grams of methamphetamine, a set of digital scales and a cell phone. McKinney is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver's license.
