Mississippi County Sheriff Dale Cook presided over a promotion ceremony Tuesday morning in the MCSD Board room. Sheriff Cook was assisted by Court Justices Ken Kennemore and Benton Felts.
Chuck Brown of Leachville, Morgan George of Oceola and Jeremy Tucker of Leachville were all promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Brandon Bryan of Etowah was promoted to the rank of sergeant.
Lieutenant Brown joined the MCSD two weeks ago but has 22 years of experience in law enforcement. He is assigned to patrol and training.
Lieutenant George has been with Mississippi County for 12 years and has 14 years of law enforcement experience. He is assigned to aviation and administration.
Lieutenant Tucker has served 13 of his 15 years in law enforcement with Mississippi County. He is assigned to the patrol division.
Sgt. Bryan has been with the County for four years. He is assigned to the patrol division.
