The defending 2A State Champion boys team overwhelmed the field, claiming both the singles and doubles titles for the second consecutive year. Grant Mason took the singles crown with a straight set 6-4, 6-3 victory over teammate Zach Poe in an all-Rebel final. Riverside's doubles duo of Gavin Stone and Jon Marshall Milligan came out victorious over the Rebel team of Braden Overman and Luke Baker, 6-2, 6-4.

On the girls side, Riverside shared the district championship with Ridgefield Christian. The Lady Rebel tandem of Abby Brickell and Hattie Milligan claimed a straight set win over Crowley Ridge Academy's Elizabeth Ramsey and Hannah Hutson in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0. Riverside's McKenna Beach and Bailey Fisher took third place. In singles action, Riverside's Carson Smith defeated teammate Brittney Sain, 6-4, 6-3, to finish third. Lauren Imerie of Ridgefield Christian captured the singles crown with a straight set 6-3, 6-2 victory over Ashley Mobley of CRA. Imerie's victory helped the Lady Warriors gain a share of the district title.

"We played very well and did what we were supposed to do," said Riverside Coach Terry Conner. "I am very proud of our team and we are looking forward to defending our state title next week."
