A juvenile was shot after he and two others broke into a house in the 100 block of East McHaney, Sunday evening, according to Blytheville Assistant Police Chief Ricky Jefferson.
The 16-year-old was flown to Lebonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Jefferson said the homeowner was asleep in bed when he heard a noise.
He then fired in the dark, striking one of the three offenders in the leg, Jefferson said.
More details will be released as they become available.
