Bobbie Jean Guyton Posey
Mrs. Bobbie Jean Guyton Posey, 69, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the home of her daughter in North Wales, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Posey was born near Blytheville, where she attended school and was a graduate of Harrison High School.
She married Eddie Posey and they moved to Memphis during the late 1960s. They lived in New Jersey before she moved back to Blytheville a few years ago.
She was an employee of Web Craft Industries.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Marshall and Fannie Mae Clark Guyton; four sisters, Ernestine, Delois, Florine, Octavia and four bothers, Vancell, John A., Arthur and Marshall, Jr..
Mrs. Posey leaves her husband, Eddie Posey of Cinnamon, N.J.;
A son, Micahel (Melanie) Posey of East Windsor, N.J.;
Two daughters, Ms. Katena Posey of Austell, Ga. And Mrs. Heather (Dwayne) Storey of North Wales, Penn.;
Five Sisters, Mrs. Pauline Dodson of Blytheville, Mrs. Mary Logan of Blytheville, Ms. Theodosia Guyton, of Blytheville, Mrs. Nellie Wilkerson of Peoria, Ill. And Mrs. Verlene Johnson of Key Largo, Fla.;
Four brothers, Johnny (Loistine) Guyton, Willie (Willie B.) Guyton, Thurman Guyton and Jessie David (Toni) Guyton, all of Peoria, Ill.;
Eight grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 E. McHaney Drive, with Pastor Odale Jones officiating. Reverend Larry Guyton is the Eulogist. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Yarbro. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at First Missionary Baptist Church.
