Luxtill Davis

Mr. Luxtill Davis, 77, of Burdette, entered into rest Saturday, September 5, 2015. Born July 23, 1938 to Roland and Delmatia Davis, he was a retired truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Nela Davis, one son Scottie Davis and one brother Donald Davis.

Mr. Davis leaves one daughter, Sybil (Mike) Gunn of Wilson;

One son, Kirby (Katrina) Davis of Jefferson, Ga.;

Four grandchildren, Dustin Davis, Allyson Gunn, Michael Gunn and Maggie Davis;

Two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Davis and Isabel Davis;

Four sisters, Juanita Freeman, Audrey McCormack, Audie Biers, Ola Bonee; and

One brother, Nathan Davis.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 8, at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 8 at the Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola.
