Sharp moved to East Arkansas facility

As of July 2nd, Freddie Sharp III of Gosnell has been transferred from the Arkansas Department of Corrections's North Central Unit, and is now in the custody of East Arkansas Regional Facility in Brickeys. Sharp is currently serving a 25 year sentence for the rape of 11 year-old Jessica Williams.

On August 28th, 2013 a child's body was discover in a ditch on East County Road 122. The body was later identified as Jessica Williams of Gosnell. She was was reported missing the day before, when she didn't return from playing with her dog. Sharp was charged, tried, then convicted and sentenced on Oct. 17th. 2014.
