James Warren
James "Jim" Thomas Warren, 76, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away May 30, 2015 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born March 15, 1939 near Alton, Missouri to the late Mack and Hettie Warren. A 1956 graduate of Alton High School, Jim also served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1960. After that, he had a long career as an accountant. Jim was saved and baptized at an early age.
Preceding him in death were his parents; fathers in law, Robert Pingleton and Bill Buffalo; brothers in law, Ronnie Pingleton, Joe Buffalo, Hubert Strain, Denzil Hensley, and Frank Johnson; nephew, Rodney Johnson.
Survivors include his partner of many years, Lowell Burrow;
Sons and daughter in law, Jimmie Warren of Fordland, Missouri, and Mark and Leanda Warren of Blue Springs, Missouri;
Daughter and son in law, Treva and Gary Swadley of Springfield, Missouri;
Mother of his children, Myrna Croft of Springfield, Missouri;
Brother and sister in law, Mackey and Michelle Warren of Livingston, Montana; | Sisters and brother in law, Emma Lou and Kenneth Stogsdill and Loviena Strain, all of Alton, Missouri, and Kay Hensley of Koshkonong, Missouri; |
Mother in law, Grace Buffalo of Springfield, Missouri;
Ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 -- 2:00 p.m. on June 12, 2015 at Phillips Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Jon Binkley officiating.
