Wanda Lee Smith
Wanda Lee Smith, 66, of Marked Tree, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of Upper Room Apostolic Church in Tyronza. She was born April 21, 1949, to Alvie King Kirby and Janie Katherine Palmer Kirby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Elana Marie Tilley; one son, Steven Lee Rios; one sister, Ruby Kirby; and two brothers, Robert Kirby and James Kirby.
Mrs. Smith leaves her husband, William James Smith of Marked Tree;
Three daughters, Angela (William) Gann and Gina Tilley, both of Marked Tree, and Christy (Charles) Black of Niles, Mississippi;
One son, Christopher (Cathey) Rios of Niles, Mississippi;
Five sisters, Dorothy Sandy Holdenwald of Tennessee, Mammie Redd of Columbia, Tennessee, Wilma Truelove and Linda Kirby, both of Marked Tree and Lillie Jones of Harrisburg;
Six brothers, Bobby Kirby of Harrisburg, Jerry Kirby of Walnut Ridge, Larry Kirby of Mountain View, Harold Dean Kirby of Paragould, Gary Wayne Kirby of Brooklyn and Alvie Kirby Jr. of Marked Tree; and
Fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Upper Room Apostolic Church in Tyronza. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. with Bro. Lynn Vinson officiating. Burial will take place at Tyronza Cemetery.
