Doris Yvonne Richards

Doris Yvonne Richards, 73, of Payneway, Arkansas, died of heart failure on Friday, April 24, 2015, at her home.

Born April 23, 1942, in Scottsboro, Alabama, she was a homemaker and a member of Corner's Chapel Baptist Church of Payneway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mac Campbell; a son, Jimmy Hood; a sister, Joyce Owens; and three brothers, James, Sonny and J.C. Campbell.

Ms. Richards leaves her companion, Floyd Vowell of Payneway;

Two daughters, Elizabeth Simpson and Marie Jones of Payneway;

Two sons, Tony Hood of Payneway and Roger Hood of Lepanto;

One sister, Donie Payne of Missouri; and

Sixteen grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Glenn Hurst, were held Monday at Corner's Chapel Baptist Church. Burial followed at Potter's in Lepanto.

Arrangements were made by Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza.
