ARMOREL -- The Armorel Lady Tigers dropped a non-conference game Monday night, losing to the Piggott Lady Mohawks, 5-2, at Armorel.
Piggott scored three in the third and two in the fourth. Armorel scored both of its runs in home half of the fourth inning.
Brooke Trout struck out eight batters in seven innings in the loss.
Leading the Lady Tiger offense was Luisa Towery (2-3 with an RBI), Abigail McCauley (2-4 with a run scored) and Madison Harris (2-4).
The Lady Tigers are 14-5 and take on East Poinsett County at 4 p.m. Thursday at Armorel.
