HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. (AP) -- Phillips County sheriff's deputies have recovered a body from the Mississippi River near Helena-West Helena.

WMC-TV reports that the body was found Monday morning and that investigators reported it appears to have been in the water for a few weeks.

Authorities have not positively identified the body.

Earlier this month, Mississippi County officials were searching the river for Aaron Lane, 36, of Blytheville, who reportedly fell overboard from a tug boat south of Osceola. After several days of searches by the Blytheville Emergency Squad and the US Coast Guard, Lane was presumed drowned.
