William R. "Bill" Harris
William R. "Bill" Harris, 89, of Blytheville passed from this life Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
Born to Raymond and Gladys McQuarter Harris in Lepanto, Bill was a retired salesman for Carlock Automotive and Tri-State Motors. He served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force during World War II and Korean Wars. He was a member of Pathway Church of God and Bethany Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill is survived by his wife, Charlene Harris of Blytheville;
A son, Mark Harris of Fremont, New Hampshire;
Two step-children, Dwight Pugh and his wife Ginger of Blytheville and Juanita Pugh of Blytheville;
Six grandchildren, Shaun Harris, Misty Tate, Chris Harris, John Pugh, Michelle Pugh and Richard Pugh;
Nine great grandchildren; and
Aa host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Rigney officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
