The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department.
-- Police took a vandalism report from a resident in the 3300 block of Debra Lane. The offender let the air out of the victim's tires and scratched a racial slur on his fenders, doors, hood and tailgate of his truck.
-- Officers took a report from the Office of Child Support Enforcement that a father has failed to pay $11,004.57 in child support to the mother of his two children from Feb. 7, 2014 to March 17, 2015.
-- Police investigated a theft of a firearm. The victim said he had his handgun in his truck when he dropped the vehicle off to be detailed at a local business. When he returned home, the gun was missing, but the case and magazine were still in his vehicle. The victim later reported finding the firearm at his home.
-- Officers took a report of a failure to vacate in the 2200 block of Kenwood.
-- Police investigated a theft of surveillance cameras at Nu-Tu-Yu Flea Market on North First Street.
-- Police took a report of a criminal mischief in the 1100 block of Golf Links. The offender broke the victim's door frame.
-- Officers took a vandalism report in the 1100 block of North Broadway. All four of the victim's tires had holes in them.
-- Police investigated a burglary in the 1500 block of West Walnut. A variety of ammunition was taken.
-- Police took a theft report from a victim, who said he was working at the Arkansas Northeastern College computer lab and, when he got home, he noticed his phone was taken from his backpack.
-- Officers arrested Noel Dexter of Blytheville for allegedly shoplifting a bottle of alcohol at Razorback Liquor on South Division.
-- Police investigated a theft of a firearm in the 1300 block of South Debra.
-- Police investigated a burglary in the 1300 block of South Franklin. A flat-screen television was reported missing.
-- Police took a battery report. The victim said his girlfriend hit him in the face and scratched his arms, then he called police and went to the hospital.
-- Following a traffic stop, officers arrested James Bostic, a felon, who who had had handgun and outstanding warrants in Tennessee.
-- Police took a report of a fraudulent use of a credit card. The offender made purchases on Amazon ($100) and a game store in Memphis ($95).
-- Officers took a report from a victim who said someone dented his car while he was in court.
-- Police responded to the area of Carla and South Ruddle, where a large group of juveniles were fighting in he road. By the time police arrived, most have fled, but officers remained in the area because a few of the female juveniles had weapons. The report said, while patrolling, police received a burglary call at Suburban Terrace on South Ruddle. The complainant said she chased the offender after seeing him attempt to make entry into her house with a gun. The offender later ran into his house in the 800 block of Carla, the report said. The victim argued with him for several minutes before getting in her vehicle and leaving. While she was leaving, the offender allegedly took a metal pole and struck the back of her vehicle.
-- Police investigated a burglary in the 600 block of East Rose. Taken were two laptop computers, valued at $5,000 and $400, respectively.
-- Police took a terroristic threatening report in the 400 block of Stemac. An argument between the victim and offender over a boyfriend, apparently escalated to the offender threatening to kill her. The offender allegedly had a gun in her car.
