Tannie Lee Winda
Tannie Lee Winda, 71, of Wilson, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born in Hughes on Jan. 19, 1944. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tannie Wind Sr.; his mother, Jessie Lee Walker; and his step-father, James Walker Sr.; one daughter, Lakitha Winda; two sons, Lamar Winda and Calvin Winda; two sisters, Loretta Linda and Rachel Thomas; and one brother, James Walker Jr.
He leaves behind his wife, Eddie Mae Winda of Wilson;
Four daughters, Lasandra Nunn, Charisma Banks, Tonya Winda, all of Wilson, and Samantha Winda of Chefield;
Two sons, Jamie Lee Winda of Wilson and Eldon Gale Winda of Madison, Wisconsin;
Two sisters, Evetta Turner of Joiner and Jeanette Jones of Marked Tree;
Five brothers, Lawerence Walker and Alfred Jones, both of Madison, Wisconsin, Willie Walker of Indiana, Jeff Winda of Forrest City and Danny Winda of Jonesboro; and
Nineteen grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home Osceola with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery Evadale. The family will receive visitors from 8 a.m. until the service Saturday.
