ARMOREL -- The Armorel Lady Tigers played less than three innings Tuesday night but managed to pick up two wins over the Maynard Tigers in a conference double-header.

Armorel posted a 19-1 win in two innings in game one and had plated 15 runs in one third of an inning in game two before Maynard ended the game.

In game one, Rylee Nelson, Amanda Skelton (two triples, a single and four RBIs) Abigail McCauley, Brooke Trout, Katie Weld (three-run triple), Luisa Towery and Ally Young all recorded hits.

In game two, Nelson, Skelton (triple and a double), McCauley, Weld (2 singles and 2 RBIs), Tia Sellers and Olivia Luttrell picked up hits for the Lady Tigers.

Trout struck out four of the seven batters she faced in game one for the win and Weld struck out two of three batters she faced in game two for the win.

Armorel is scheduled to play Friday in a tournament in Portageville, Mo.
