Why are city trucks being driven home to Burdette?

To the editor:

For years, I have read about budget shortfalls and money troubles for the city of Blytheville. And yet, I see Water Works employees living in Burdette (10 miles away) allowed to drive city trucks home everyday.

And we are led to believe everything is being done to cut costs.

Wow.
