Elmer Delisle Latham
Elmer Delisle Latham, 71, of Blytheville, died March 10, 2015, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born Sept. 10, 1943, in Wardell, Missouri, he was a retired truck driver, trader and horse shoer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Andrew Latham and Pauline Waddell Latham.
Mr. Latham leaves his wife, June Darleen Shirley Latham of Blytheville;
Four daughters, Tammy (Bryan) Ostmann of St. Charles, Missouri, Jennifer (Zack) Bryan of Winfield, Missouri, Angie Latham of Bartersville, Okla., and Jennifer Latham of Blytheville;
Two stepdaughters, Dawn Boling and Nola Wood of Waynesville, Mo.;
Three sons, Rick (Judy) Latham and Mick (Sue) Latham of Winfield, Mo., and Christopher Latham of Blytheville;
One stepson, John Wood of Waynesville, Mo.;
Three sisters, Billie Wallace and Bobbie Vaughn of Blytheville, and Wanda Young of Marion;
One brother, LaFonce Latham of Burdette;
16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The family receives visitors Thursday evening at Wilson Funeral Home, and again from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Calvary Assembly of God in Winfield, Missouri.
A funeral service was held Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, and a second funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Assembly of God in Winfield. Burial will take place at Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield. Officiating ministers will be Bro. Jerry Shirley, Bro. Robert Duhon and Bro. Alva Shirley.
