Valeria A. Rowe
Mrs. Valeria A. Rowe, 55, of Los Angeles, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles.
She was born in Mississippi, but moved to Missouri as a young woman. She lived in the Bootheel of Missouri for many years before moving to California.
Mrs. Rowe leaves five sons, Toby Rowe of Paragould, Michael Rowe of Springfield, Missouri, Scotty Rowe of Kennett and Malcom Taylor and Marlon Grayson, both of Los Angeles;
Three daughters, Timbra (Ron) Adawa of Kennett, and Vernisha Grayson-Holznger and Felicia Johnson, both of Los Angeles;
Five sisters, Kathy Rose of Portageville, Missouri, Jennifer (Rickey) Taylor of Rialto, California, Beverly Rose of Blytheville, Rita (Johnny) Jones of Sanatoria, Mississippi, and Dale Polk of Kennett;
Five brothers, Jerry Rowe of Los Angeles, Jackie (Brenda) Rowe, Alvin Rowe, and Rodney (Melissa) Polk all of Hayti, and Jeffery Polk of Portageville;
A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives; and
A companion, Errol Doug Johnson of Los Angeles.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Hayti Heights with Courtney Sanders, pastor.
McDonald-Horne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
