Monday night's 3-4A District Tournament openers at Cave City for the Gosnell Pirates were postponed because of inclement weather. The Lady Pirates were scheduled to play Harrisburg at 4 p.m. while the boys were to play Highland at 5:30 p.m. As of Monday morning, a make up time had not been established...

Monday night's 3-4A District Tournament openers at Cave City for the Gosnell Pirates were postponed because of inclement weather. The Lady Pirates were scheduled to play Harrisburg at 4 p.m. while the boys were to play Highland at 5:30 p.m. As of Monday morning, a make up time had not been established.

As of Monday morning, the 1A-3 East District Tournament hosted by Ridgefield Christian in Jonesboro was still on schedule.

Armorel Lady Tiger head coach Shannon Miller said he had not heard of any changes to the current bracket.

"It's really up to Ridgefield," said Miller. "They'll get our input but we're not for sure when they'll end up making a decision. It may end up on whether or not they have school tomorrow."

Miller's squad is currently scheduled to play the host team, RCA, at 6 p.m. Tuesday night.

Other games Tuesday night, the Blytheville Chickasaws are scheduled the travel to Nettleton to take on the Raiders. As of Monday, no decisions had been made on the game according to boys head coach Jason James. The junior varsity game is scheduled for 5 p.m. followed by the senior girls then senior boys. Currently, the boys (12-9, 5-5 5A-East) are a game behind the fourth place Raiders (12-10, 6-4) with four games to go for the final state tournament spot.
