Minnie Bell Still
Mrs. Minnie Bell Still, 82, of Manila, widow of Elton Still, passed from this life Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born Sept. 7, 1932, in Marianna, she was the daughter of the late Tib and Hazel Mitchell Stevens and had been a lifelong Manila area resident. She was retired from American Greetings in Osceola and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Manila.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dwight Still, a grandson, Christian Still, two great-grandchildren, Waylon and Lillian Still, two sisters, Imogene Duncan and Wilma Randolph, and a brother, William "Butch" Stevens.
Survivors include one son, Randy Still, and wife Debbie of Paragould; daughter-in-law, Julie Still of Bryant; one brother, Curt Stevens of Harrisburg; six sisters,
Pauline Gosser and Carolyn Gosser, both of Mountain View, Laverne Morgan and
Lavon Brown, both of Caraway, Kathy Jones of Judsonia, and Roxie Laird of Lake City; three grandsons, Matthew Still and wife Emily, Jeremy Still, Chris Still and wife Brandy. She also leaves her great-grandchildren, Samantha, Hannah and Carson Grace.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Eddie Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
