Blytheville High School held its annual Science Fair Tuesday. This year's winners will head to Arkansas State University in March to compete in the regional competition.
Every student enrolled in a science class at BHS conducted an experiment and wrote a lab report, according to science teacher Cameron Tharp, who said these reports described the method the students used to conduct the experiment and communicated their results.
Seventy-five high school students competed in a myriad of science-related categories, creating roughly 300 boards total between competition and non-competition projects.
The students with the winning projects will be competing in the 2015 Northeast Regional Science Fair located at Arkansas State University on March 5 and will include schools from all over the region.
"We are very proud to have so many students move on and represent Blytheville High School," Tharp said.
