After experiencing a spike at the end of 2014, tax revenues across Mississippi County are down again, according to the most recent report released by county Treasurer Peggy Meatte.
Mississippi County's share of the 1-cent sales tax for December of 2014 was $106,701, down from $111,131 in November.
Revenues from the half-cent economic development tax dropped from $277,974 in November to $266,884 in December.
Both funds experienced a record-breaking high in October of 2014, but Meatte predicted that the first few months of 2015 will continue to see a decline.
