The local chapter of Ducks Unlimited will be having its annual fundraising auction Saturday at the Blytheville Country Club. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
There will be games, a live auction and a silent auction, as well as a a number of raffles. Organizer Julie Stormire said this year the organization will have more guns for people to win or buy than in previous years, with 14 guns, including a Beretta pistol and a Benelli Montefeltro rifle.
The fundraiser supports waterfowl and wetlands conservation. This year, the national organization is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Individual tickets are $45, couple tickets are $65 and sponsor tickets are $325. Each ticket includes dinner and a membership with Ducks Unlimited, and the sponsor ticket includes a framed print, license plate and raffle entries.
