Thoughts on voter ID, term limits

Friday, October 31, 2014

To the editor:

There are two things I would like to address to the citizens of Arkansas.

One, the courts have spoken. The courts ruled that the voters' photo I.D. law is no longer valid. You can vote as usual; you don't need a photo I.D. to vote. If anyone demands that you must have a photo I.D., you ask for a provisional ballot.

Two, the voters adopted term limits for their state legislatures for this reason:

American politicians, special interest and lobbyists continue to combat term limits, as they know term limits force out career politicians who are more concerned with their own gain than the interests of the people.

Just something you need to know.
