Class reunions coincide with homecoming

A couple of Blytheville High School class reunions were held over homecoming weekend, featuring the classes of 2004 and 1974. The reunions began on Oct. 17 outside Haley Field prior to the football game between the Chickasaws and Valley View. Graduates from the BHS Class of 2004 gathered for their 10-year reunion, and they were treated to hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings, potato chips and soft drinks. A few members of the BHS Class of 1974 were also present for their 40th class reunion. They are (from left) Martha Davis Thomas, Rose Walker Nichols, Gloria Fair and Debra Howard Brooks.
