Gilbert Kayne Carter

Mr. Gilbert Kayne Carter, 70, of Trumann, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born May 28, 1944, to the late William Carter and Ida Carter, he was a car salesman.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dottie Carter; two brothers, Virgil Carter and Harold Carter; and two sisters, Betty Carter and Ruby Carter.

Mr. Carter leaves his wife, Marie Carter of Trumann;

Two brothers, William "Harvey" Carter of Trumann and J.R. Carter of Alton, Illinois;

Two sons, Wayne Carter and David Carter, both of Modesto, California; and

Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 at Harrisburg Memorial Cemetery in Harrisburg, with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating.
