DRASCO -- The Armorel Tiger golf team finished seventh at Tuesday's 1A state golf tournament at Tannebaum Country Club in Drasco. The Tigers finished with a team score of 323. Concord took home the championship with a team score of 277. Junior Leyton Clark finished runner-up with an 85. ...

DRASCO -- The Armorel Tiger golf team finished seventh at Tuesday's 1A state golf tournament at Tannebaum Country Club in Drasco. The Tigers finished with a team score of 323. Concord took home the championship with a team score of 277.

Junior Leyton Clark finished runner-up with an 85. He won a two-hole playoff with a birdie on number 11 qualifying him for the overall state championship on Thursday, Oct. 16 at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock. Rounding out the scoring for the Tigers were Jonathan Willard (117), Nieko Sorrentino (121) and Jared Wyatt (122).

Armorel and coach Shannon Miller would like to thank Thunder Bayou for allowing them to practice and play at their facility.
