Shawn Jefferson, was due to appear in circuit court Thursday morning, but received a continuance.
Jefferson was arrested in June in connection with a string of burglaries along Main Streetin downtown Blytheville, and then again in August for assaulting an officer who was attempting to carry out an arrest warrant associated with another burglary, which Jefferson allegedly committed after bonding out of county custody for the June burglaries.
Jefferson will appear for plea and arraignment on Dec. 1, with a tentative trial date set for Dec. 15.
