Dr. John Bruce Wilson

Dr. John Bruce Wilson, 87, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed from this life Sept. 9, 2014.

He was born July 2, 1927 in Berryville, Arkansas to the late Bennett Bascom (B.B.) and Willie (Tinin) Wilson.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Emily Wilson and a brother, Bennett Bascom (Dick) Wilson, Jr.

Bruce is survived by his five children, Deborah L. French (Al) of North Little Rock; Meredith Emily Wilson Lounge (Bob) of Oklahoma City; Valerie D. Keating (Neal) of Cabot, Arkansas; John Bruce Wilson, Jr. and Bennett G. Scott Wilson of Clarksville, Tennessee.

He is survived by four grandchildren, Lisa Gannon (Ed), of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Jason French (Jennifer) of North Little Rock; Brad Keating of Tallahassee, Florida; and Kira Godinet of Denver, Colorado; and three nieces, and one nephew.

Bruce leaves behind special friends Dr. Maxwell King, Marian Yarbrough, and Dr. Charles Smith.

Visitation will be held at Neal-Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home in Clarksville on Saturday from 10 a.m. -12 p.m., followed by the service. Burial will be a 1 p.m., Sunday at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, AR with Cobb Funeral Home presiding.
