Rotarian Sarah Regan spoke to the Blytheville Rotary Club recently on the Malayaka House, which rescues orphans and abandoned children in Uganda. The Malayaka House's mission is to provide the most vulnerable orphaned and abandoned Ugandan children with a safe and loving home, education and vocational training so they may grown into self-reliant citizens. Currently, there are 38 children at the facility, ranging from those who have completed school, to high school students, those in primary school and preschool. Regan has taken several mission trips to the orphanage, making connections with many of the children.
