Betty Jean Dunegan

Betty Jean Dunegan, 72, of Osceola, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, in Osceola.

Born Aug. 2, 1942, in Batesville to the late Theodore "Ted" Roosevelt and Lena Francis Dunegan, she was a member of Westside Baptist Church and retired from Carlock Automotive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bobby Dunegan; and one nephew, Michael Sorrell.

Survivors include one daughter, Angie Dunegan of Osceola;

One brother, Billy Dunegan of Osceola;

One sister, Carolyn (Melvin) Sorrell of Sapulpa, Okla.;

One nephew that she raised, Tyler (Carolyn) Dunegan of Osceola;

Two nieces, Billie Ann (Jason) Taylor of Gosnell and Pam (James) Hamilton of Sapulpa, Okla.;

Several great-nephews; and

Her faithful dog, Toto.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
