In this Nov. 1, 2007 file photo, Blytheville players (from left) Raphael Harris, Brian Bennett, manager Demius Thompson, Ojay Cullins, Remius Thompson and Kris Lakes celebrate a 55-7 victory over North Pulaski that gave the Chicks an undefeated regular season. Blytheville was 10-0 in the regular season and outright 5A-East Conference champions. The 2007 Chicks were the first Blytheville team to go undefeated in the regular season since the 1973 club. The 2007 Chicks had wins over Osceola (29-20), Poplar Bluff (34-26), Cape Girardeau Central (45-6), Wynne (18-6), Nettleton (48-7), Greene County Tech (53-0), Beebe (32-22), Batesville (22-21), Paragould (41-8) and North Pulaski (55-7). Blytheville finished the season 10-1, after falling to a tough Vilonia team in the first round of the 5A state playoffs.
