Delmer Lee Sharp

He was born March 26, 1933, at Newport, to William Albert Sharp and Lola Ussery Sharp. He worked as a television repairman and was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Scudder and husband Barney of Searcy and Pryor McDaniel and husband Barry of Hudson, Fla.;

Two sons, Lee Sharp and wife Jennifer of Memphis, and John Sharp of Memphis;

Four grandchildren, Joshlyn Trionfante of Searcy, Whitney Lambert and husband Jason of Searcy, Elliot Sharp of Memphis and Natalie Sharp of Memphis;

Four great-grandchildren, Olivia Trionfante of Searcy, Logan Trionfante of Searcy, Blakely Robertson of Searcy and Taygen Lambert of Searcy; and

Three sisters, Evelyn Sharp, Velma Sharp and Louise Sharp Womble, all of Gosnell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lola Sharp; his wife, Earline Sharp; two sisters, Bonnie Sharp and Helen Sherrill; and one brother, O. T. Sharp.

Visitation was Monday at Powell Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service.
