Billy James Orr Sr.

Billy James Orr Sr., 65, passed away July 8, 2014.

He was born Nov. 13, 1948, in Burdette to Jeffie and Margie Orr. Billy graduated from Blytheville High School. He was later employed by Frank Foundry and was the owner of Orr's Auto Cleanup.

Surviving are his children, Billy Orr Jr., and Richard Turner of Muncie, Ind., Kindra Smith (Howard) of Jonesboro, Denise Guiden and Audrey Guiden of Muncie;

His brothers, Jeffery Orr, Robert Orr of Muncie, Edward Orr, Marty Orr (Doris), Jerry Orr (Rosie) and Stanley Orr (Anita), all of Blytheville;

His sisters, Dorothy Long (James) of Muncie, Carolyn Echols (Douglas) of Blytheville;

Fifteen grandchildren;

Three great-grandchildren;

Two special aunts, Bessie Mae Price of Baldwyn, Miss., and Minnie V. McKenney, of Gary, Ind.; and

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffie and Margie Orr, maternal grandparents, Byron Miller and Ethel Glass, an uncle Edward Miller and sister-in-law Everie Orr.

Funeral Services will be held at noon Friday July 18, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Muncie, Ind. Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-noon Friday at the church. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
