The varsity and junior varsity baseball leagues wrapped up their second season with Gosnell winning the varsity level over Kennett, Mo. and Kennett defeating Rivercrest, 11-6, to wrap up the junior varsity division.
Gosnell scored six runs over their final two at bats on their way to a 9-2 win over Kennett and the varsity division crown.
Will Camp went the distance and allowed a run in each of the first two innings to get the five-inning win for Gosnell.
Gosnell scored a run in the first, two in the second, three in the fourth and two more in the fifth.
Andrew Scott and Chad Wright collected three hits a piece for the Pirates while Justin Mann, Carlos Blackman, Tino Collins, Dakota Atkison and Michael Miller each picked up a hit a piece in the win.
Peyton Burke, Jake Phillips and Cody Clark collected hits for Kennett.
Kennett scored five runs in the top of the first and held on for an 11-6 win over Rivercrest.
Luke Lockhart was the pitcher of record for Kennett going three innings on the mound in the win.
Rivercrest scored three runs in each of the first two innings but could not get anything across the plate the rest of the way.
Andrew Spence and Lockhart led the way for Kennett at the plate.
Leading the way for Rivercrest were Chipman and Nichols.
