Donna Jo Weathers

Mrs. Donna Jo Weathers, 55, of Manila, died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at her home. Born in Osceola, she was the daughter of the late Norma Faye Stone Watts and had lived most of her life in Manila. She was a retired certified nurses aide and a former employee of the Monette Manor and Manila Nursing Centers. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Weathers in 2003; and a granddaughter, Ioanna Reese Marcus. in 2007.

Survivors include one son, Steven Palmer of Freemont, Mich.;

Two daughters. Deborah Powers of Blytheville and Misty Marcus of Beaufort, S.C.;

Her father, James Watts of Manila;

One brother, Tom Watts of Manila;

Two sisters, Debbie Copeland and Brenda Davis of Manila; and

Seven grandchildren, including one granddaughter, Amber Palmer, raised in the home.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2014, in the Manila Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Horner officiating.
