Jimmie Dale Butler
Mr. Jimmie Dale Butler, 66 of Arkadelphia, formerly of the Osceola area, passed from this life Friday, June 6, 2014, at the Heritage of Hot Springs Health and Rehab in Hot Springs. Born to Robert William and Edith Williams Butler in Blytheville, he was affiliated with the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ and was a retired Towboat deck hand.
Jimmie loved the outdoors and especially working on the boats as they motored up and down the river. His love for fishing and all outdoor activities grew from his working on the farm with his dad. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Odell Butler; and several aunts and uncles.
Jimmie is survived by his daughters, Townsley Raposa, Panda Holbrook Butler, and a grandson, Daniel Holbrook Butler, all of Houston, Texas; |
His aunts, Betty "Bertie" Wolfe of Osceola, Helen Shields of Tupelo, Miss., and special friend and caregiver, Karen Harker of Arkadelphia.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, June 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Osceola with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville in charge of services.
