George Alvin Hutchens

George Alvin Hutchens, 61, of Tyronza, died of heart failure Sunday, May 25, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born July 24, 1952, in North Wilkesboro, he was a factory worker and a member of Upper Room Apostolic Church of Tyronza.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Hutchens; his grandparents; and his brother, Jim Hutchens.

Mr. Hutchens leaves one daughter, Katie Barker of North Wilkesboro;

One son, Christopher Barker of North Wilkesboro; and

One sister, Ricki Vinson of Tyronza.

Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Lynn Vinson, were held today at Upper Room Apostolic Church in Tyronza. Arrangements were by Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza.
