Johnnie McDaniel

Mr. Johnnie McDaniel, 89, of Blytheville passed from this life Thursday, May 22, 2014. Born in Gibson County, Tenn., to Robert and Cora Knox McDaniel, he was a farmer and attended Mary's Chapel Baptist Church.

Johnnie enjoyed hunting and loved visiting with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lavern McDaniel; four brothers and five sisters.

Johnnie is survived by his daughters, Deborah Warren and Vickie Camp and husband, Michael, of Blytheville, and Cathey Byrd and husband Terry, of Gosnell; and

Twelve grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rick Brothers and Bro. Lawrence Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, also at Cobb Funeral Home.
