Keith Metheny

Keith Metheny, 54, of Cardwell, Mo., passed from this life Friday, May 9, 2014, at his home. Born in Leachville, he was the son of the late Jim and Barbara Leonard Metheny and had been a lifelong resident of the Leachville and Cardwell areas. A 1977 graduate of Leachville High School he worked many years as a mechanic for Baker Implement Company in Arbyrd and also co-owned and operated Metheny's Midway Station along with his brother, Kevin.

Survivors include his wife, Doreen Horvath Metheny of the home; one son, Zach Metheny of Brookland; one grandson, Elliot Metheny; one brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Sheila Metheny of Leachville. He also leaves one niece, Keila Lynn Metheny, and one nephew, Kevin Lynn Metheny, II.

Graveside funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.
