Early voting has wrapped up its first week in Mississippi County, leading up to the primary election on May 20.

As of Friday afternoon, approximately 840 votes had been cast in Blytheville, 130 in Manila, and 429 in Osceola. Statewide, there had been 33,855 early voters and 2,993 absentee ballots on Friday afternoon.

County poll workers are now using the county's new e-tablets to sign voters in, replacing the printed poll books. The tablets are expected to be online for further use by the November election, making voting live across the county and giving voters the ability to cast their ballot at any polling site.
