Sandra Ramsey Platz

Sandra Ramsey Platz, 43, of Monette, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014, at her home. Born Aug. 25, 1970, in Jonesboro, she was the daughter of the late Auddie and Delores Mask Ramsey. Mrs. Platz was a member of the Bethabara General Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Her family said she was always there to help out someone in need.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Clarence Platz of the home; three sons, Clarence Platz, Jr., John Platz and Tanner Platz, all of Monette; two daughters, Alaina Grisham of Jonesboro and Christy Platz of Monette. Mrs. Platz also leaves 12 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Blaze Marie Murphy, and one sister, Pam Ramsey.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at the Macey Cemetery in Monette with Bro. Jim Rupard officiating.

Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.
