Philip Ryan Washington
Mr. Philip Ryan Washington passed away at his home Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was born Sept. 15, 1975, in St. Louis.
Philip was employed with American Greetings. He liked construction work, especially drywall. He enjoyed gardening, but mostly he loved being with his family. He was a philosopher and also the family "bodyguard." He looked after everyone.
Philip is survived by his mother, Shirley (and Charles) Howard of Blytheville;
One sister, Robin Cobb, of Pittsburg, Calif.;
He also leaves and cherishes his fiance', LaDoris Davis of Peoria, Ill.
His children, Destiny Carpenter, Phylynise Washington, Laura Washington, Trayshioun Washington, Philip Washington Jr., Jarrius Washington;
One step-daughter, Jeniyah Davis;
His only unborn grandson, Ty'Mere Fortune.
His only nephew, Naval Petty Officer James Garner Jr. of Fallon, Nev., and
Three special nieces, Kandace Garner of Little Rock, Stephanie Smallwood of Pittsburg, Calif., and Jasmine Bell-Cobb of Las Vegas, Nev.
Phillip was blessed to be a great uncle of Mya Garner, and leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Carney Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service begins. Minister Lorraine Walker will be officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.carneyfuneralhome.com
