Manila Pack 32 excels at Spring Camporee

Manila Pack 32 attended the Cherokee District 2014 Cub Scout Spring Camporee at Crowleys Ridge State Park, April 4-6.

There were 17 different Cub Scout Packs represented at the Camporee. The activities that the boys participated in we're BB guns, archery, rope bridge, fishing rodeo, scavenger hunt, and falconry. Presentations from the Arkansas Game & Fish included snakes, bugs, fish, and other Arkansas Wildlife.

The Arkansas Game & Fish brought the mobile aquarium, a few different snakes, an alligator, and several types of bugs for the boys to observe, learn about, and even touch.

There was also a Dutch Oven cook-off.

Pack 32 of Manila did the flag retirement ceremony. They brought home first place in Scavenger Hunt and Most Original Recipe in the Dutch Oven cook-off for S'mores cake. Two boys, Logan Warrenfells and Cort Wright, won new fishing poles in the fishing rodeo.
