Morning wreck slows traffic on Highway 18

A portion of the eastbound lane of Highway 18 near Big Lake was blocked off Friday morning as Arkansas State Police and other local authorities worked a two-vehicle accident.

The accident apparently occurred when a white Chevy Impala (background) heading west collided head-on with a pewter Chevy Silverado truck (foreground) that was heading east.

The ASP said there were no injuries reported from the accident.
