Bishop George E. Wilson
Bishop George E. Wilson, of Blytheville, died Monday, March 31, 2014, at his residence.
He was a musical engineer.
He leaves behind his wife, Beverly Wilson;
Four daughters, Latanya Wilson Gillespie of Blytheville, Joyce Bohannon of Little Rock, Tiffany Levy of Austin, Texas, and Precious Wilson of Blytheville;
Three sons, Jerry Martin of Hermondale, Mo., Edward Wilson of Steele, Mo., and Joshua Wilson of Blytheville;
Five sisters, Elnora Bell, Pearlie Bell and Rose Mary Robinson, all of Blytheville, Ruthie Chatmon of Gosnell and Alice Jones of Long Beach, Calif;
One brother, T.J. Wilson of Blytheville; and
Seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors form 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at St. Matthew's Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
