Studio 4 opens in Manila

Four hair stylists have partnered to open Studio 4 on Baltimore Street (main street) in downdown Manila. In addition to family hair care, the business has a tanning bed and offers spray tans, pedicures and manicures.

Stylists include Maria Shanks, Jennifer Misner, Tabby Jackson and Keri Shrable. They love their location downtown.

"I love the older buildings," Shanks said. "They have character. I would love to see more of the town buildings being restored and occupied. There is so much potential here. The old buildings just need a little work and care."

The four women have made a good match to meet all hair needs for families.

Shanks has 15 years experience and is a graduate of the Arkansas Academy of Hair Design in Jonesboro. She and her husband Bryan moved to Manila five years ago. They have four children.

Misner has six years of experience as a stylist and she is a graduate of the Arkansas Academy of Hair Design in Paragould. She and her husband Troy live in Dell. They have one daughter.

Jackson graduated in November from the Arkansas Academy of Hair Design in Paragould. Along with hair styling she offers spa pedicures and gel manicures. She and her husband Chad live in Monette and have two sons.

Shrable is also a graduate of Arkansas Academy of Hair Design in Jonesboro. She specializes in pageant hair style, up-dos and make-up. She also offers extensions and spray tans and has Kertin Complex smoothing system and Chi and Redkin color. She and her husband Ryan live in Caraway. They have two children.

Studio 4 is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment only. Walk-ins are welcome. Call (870) 561-1177 for an appointment.
